Job Description

Position Summary:

The role is responsible for inputting Usha Silai School program with training content, ensuring effective training management, structured in-house video content production for the Usha Silai App, building and managing a women-led digital creator ecosystem, and promoting income generation for women through value creation with scalable production models.

The position will work closely with trainers, women entrepreneurs, marketing and branding teams, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery, strong forward linkages, brand creation, digital presence, quality, consistency, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage training curricula for Usha Silai Schools, Training cum Production Centres, and partner-led training models.
  • Lead in-house video content creation for the Usha Silai App including planning, scripting, production, validation, and publishing.
  • Create structured content calendars and ensure multi-language content delivery for various Silai School models across the country.
  • Design and conduct training sessions for development of Master Trainers.
  • Conduct trainings for Usha Silai School women as and when needed in rural areas.
  • Build forward and market linkages for women entrepreneurs including designers, brands, exhibitions, and fashion platforms.
  • Support development of women-led brands, cooperatives, and production clusters.
  • Oversee sampling, catalog development, and quality standardization across TCPCs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, trainers, partners, and women entrepreneurs for effective program delivery.
  • Monitor performance metrics, documentation, and reporting for training and content initiatives.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

1. Training content development and rollout as per defined timelines.

2. Number and quality of video modules produced for the Usha Silai App.

3. Effective forward linkages resulting in income enhancement for women entrepreneurs.

4. Development of training calendars, catalogs, and standardized processes.

5. Contribution to scalable production models and branding initiatives.

6. Training for development of Master Trainers

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in Fashion Designing, Apparel Production with a good understanding of garment construction processes and a good knowledge of digital content creation.

Experience: 58 years of experience in training management and content development in garment construction / fashion designing. Preference would be given to candidates with experience in grassroots or women-centric initiatives and with knowledge of digital content creation in the related field.
