The Company i.e. Monster.com (India) Private Limited, is committed in protecting the privacy of its Users (“You” / “Your”). The Company strives to provide a safe, secure User experience through protecting the personal information (hereinafter referred to as “PERSONAL DATA”) that resides with the Company. Keeping Your PERSONAL DATA safe, secure, and preventing any misuse thereof, is therefore a top priority of the Company. The Company is strongly committed to protecting Your privacy and has undertaken all necessary and reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of any information i. e for users who have shared PERSONAL DATA on our platform and `unregistered users whose information we source from publicly available data across websites.

It is Company’s Notice to comply with data protection legislation. This Notice shall also apply to the WAP, i.e. mobile version of the Website, and other mobile applications in which the Site operate.

foundit, is the leading talent platform that operates in an online employment marketplace spanning the Asia-Pacific region such as India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hongkong and Gulf.

As we operate in different markets, aspects of this Privacy Notice address certain region-specific requirements under applicable Privacy Laws. It is important that you read this Privacy Notice in full to ensure you understand all aspects that apply to you.

Who is responsible for your Personal Information?

This section sets out which legal entity at foundit for India, Monster.com India Private Limited is responsible for the Personal Information we collect from you and clarifies when we are a controller or a processor of your Personal Information.

The information, including but not limited to Personal Data, provided by users voluntarily in the Platform is stored on the Company’s databases in India. Company determines the purposes and means of processing such information and, accordingly, acts as the data controller, responsible for the collection, use, storage, and protection of your Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

In certain cases, we may process Personal Data on behalf of our clients or other third parties, such as employers and recruiters. In such instances, we act as a data processor, while the relevant client or third party acts as the data controller, determining the purposes and means of processing.

We may also collect or receive Personal Data from publicly available sources or third parties, which are made accessible to potential employers for relevant job opportunities. When a recruiter or employer chooses to contact you, they act as an independent data controller for such engagement and are responsible for providing appropriate notice and obtaining consent where required.

We collect information about you when you use our Platform and Applications. We receive and store this information when you enter it on our website or send it to us and also collect information through your interactions with our products and services.     This data is automatically collected through use of Cookies that is part of or placed on your browser or on your devices and is processed for Company’s legitimate interest. We combine this information with personal data to help detect and prevent fraud. We also combine this data with your profile and resume data to return the best job search results to you.

    We source your publicly available data across websites encompassing employment history, educational background, skills, and other pertinent information to construct composite profiles. These profiles are made accessible to potential employers for employment-related considerations.

  • If you are a Minor User:

    In most cases, we do not need to collect your Sensitive Information when you engage with us. You should not disclose any Sensitive Information to us which is not necessary or relevant to disclose. Candidates should be especially mindful of this during a job application process.

    However, there may be some situations where we do collect and handle your Sensitive Information such as:

How do we collect Personal Information?

Registered Users:

Directly from you as a Registered User

We collect Personal Data of registered users from multiple sources, including directly from you when you register on the Platform, create or update your profile, or communicate with us. We also collect information through your use and interaction with the Platform, including your activity, preferences, and usage patterns. In addition, we may collect data automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies that capture information about your device, browsing behaviour, and interactions with the Platform. We may also receive Personal Data from third-party service providers, partners, publicly available sources, and our affiliated entities, where permitted under applicable law, to provide our services, enhance user experience, and support operational purposes.

Unregistered users:

From Publicly available sources and third parties

We may collect your personal information from publicly available sources and third-party providers, including data aggregators and platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. This information may be used to create or enhance profiles on our platform and make them available to employers to facilitate relevant job opportunities.

Information shared in public areas (such as resumes or profiles) may be accessed and used by others globally. We advise against sharing sensitive information in such areas.

We may use your information to provide personalized content, job opportunities, and relevant advertisements. We also use aggregated and anonymized data to analyze usage and improve our services. Such aggregated data may be shared with partners without identifying individual users.

We retain your personal information as necessary to provide our services, including supporting your career opportunities and related services.

In certain cases (e.g., co-branded services), your information may be shared with partner organizations, and their use of such data will be governed by their respective policies.

Our services may include publicly available or third-party sourced data to facilitate recruitment. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee completeness or reliability of such information.

All services and information are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free services and are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on such information or use of the platform. Users interact with third-party advertisements at their own discretion.

a) Cross border data transfer

Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside India for purposes such as data storage, service delivery, analytics, and operational support, including by our affiliates and service providers. The Company implements reasonable safeguards, including contractual and security measures, to ensure that your Personal Data is protected during such transfers. Such transfers are carried out in compliance with applicable law under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

b) Data Security Standards and Certifications

ISO 27001 :2022

The organization is certified under ISO 27001:2022, demonstrating its commitment to implementing and maintaining an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with business risks. This certification provides assurance of robust information security practices supported by employee awareness and training.

SOC2 Type 2

Organization has implemented SOC 2 Type 2 certification for effective controls and safeguards to protect the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of customer data.

  • This certification is particularly relevant for technology and cloud computing organizations that handle sensitive information for their clients. SOC 2 Type 2 requires the establishment of an effective incident response program to identify, respond to, and report security incidents.

  • SOC 2 Type 2 certification provides a comprehensive and ongoing assessment of a service organization's information security practices, offering assurance to clients, stakeholders, and partners about the effectiveness of its controls and risk management.

c) Our Apps

In addition to the above, where Users access our mobile applications (Our Apps) we use third party software development kits (SDK’s) and services which collect information relating to your use of Our Apps, including tracking of app installs and re-engagement. This information is used to tailor and measure display advertisements to install and/or use Our Apps which appear on third party sites/apps and are targeted towards Users’ usage preferences.

Company is also using various latest technologies, methodologies, operational processes including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence in its legitimate business interest for its customers and job seekers for getting the right candidates for potential job opportunities and right jobs for the candidates respectively.

d) Google API Services User Data Policy

foundit use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

e) Privacy Compliance for Google Oauth verification

1. Foundit does not share any recruiter profile data like Mail ID with any third-party tools (Such as AI models)

2. If Recruiter wants to Opt out of the Google authentication feature, they can raise a ticket expressing intent to opt out on the mail id cr@foundit.in and the authenticated mail ID will be de-authenticated.

Retention and Storage of Personal Data

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes, or until you request deletion of your account, whichever is later.

Upon account deletion or withdrawal of consent, we will delete your Personal Data, unless retention is required under applicable law. Thereafter, we may retain and use data in an anonymized and aggregated form for analytical and research purposes, ensuring that such data no longer identifies you.

Notwithstanding the above, as per DPDPA rules 2025 certain data, including system logs, traffic data, technical logs, and security-related information, will be retained for a minimum period of one year from the date of deletion request.

Company use Google Analytics to analyse how users interact with our website. Data collected (such as device and usage information) is retained for a 14 months period and is automatically deleted thereafter.

Access and Updating Account Information

Accessing and updating of information is limited to registered users when the user accesses the platform, the Company makes good faith efforts to provide the User, as and when requested by the User, with access to his/her Personal Data and user shall further ensure that any Personal Data or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected or amended as feasible, subject to any requirement for such Personal Data or sensitive personal data or information to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

In case you would like to modify / delete any details with respect to your personal / non-personal information, or to access Your information in readable format, you can access and modify your details by accessing your account on the platform by selecting the manage your settings or write to us at compliance@foundit.in

The Company shall process all information access requests under 7 days of receipt. However, in case the Company requires additional time to provide access to your information, the same shall be acknowledged on the User email id, from which the information access request was sent under 7 days.

The Company reserves the right to verify and authenticate your identity and Personal Data the access to which is requested.

Candidate Profile Visibility Settings

Upon registration, all Candidates are asked to create a personal Profile by providing certain personal information and selecting one of the visibility settings - ‘standard’, or ‘hidden’ - as described below. For unregistered user, foundit has created a standard profile basis the publicly available data across platforms.

2. Jobseeker/candidate profile can be searched by employers through candidate Search service

3. Employer who purchases access can view your Profile including contact details and your uploaded resume

5. The jobseeker /candidate would have access to search for job advertisement and apply for the job postings using foundit account.

1. Jobseeker/Candidate can turn OFF the profile visibility in the foundit account. This will hide profile from all employer searches. However, the following actions can be performed:

a. Jobseeker /Candidate can modify/add/delete the profile information

b. Jobseeker /Candidate will have the access to search for job advertisement and apply for the job postings using foundit account.

The unregistered profile can have following employer actions:

1. Profile can be searched by employers utilising candidate Search service of foundit

2. Employer can view profile including contact details (if available)

3. Employer can contact you using any method such as email, call.

4. Candidate has the option to OPT-OUT from foundit platform by sending an email at compliance@foundit.in

Candidate account preferences (Registered Users) Description

Hide profile from searches

The jobseeker/candidate will have the provision to make profile hidden from all recruiter searches. Having said that, users can apply to the jobs and in such cases, the application/resume will be processed for employers to consume.

Make profile confidential

The jobseeker/candidate can switch the profile to confidential mode under visibility settings. This ensures that your contact information (email, phone, name) is masked in the searches. Employer can only reach out through email campaign using foundit interface (email id is although hidden on the user interface/ front end)

Temporary Deactivation of profile

The jobseeker/candidate will have the option under account setting to deactivate the account temporarily, which will remove profile from employer searches and also restricts the ability to apply to jobs.

Permanent deactivation of registered/unregistered user

As stated in "Withdrawal of Consent (Unsubscribe/Optout)" the registered /unregistered user can write to us at compliance@foundit.ai for permanent deletion of the account

  • Posting Your Information to Public Areas of the Platform

    Information you choose to share in public areas of the platform (such as profiles or resumes) may be accessed and used by others. You can control the visibility of your resume by setting it as public or private.

  • Private Resume:

    Not searchable by employers but can be shared when you apply for jobs

  • Public Resume:

    Searchable by employers; you may choose to hide certain details, though complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed

By making your resume searchable or applying for jobs, you consent to sharing your information with relevant employers, including those located outside your jurisdiction.

While we take reasonable steps to restrict access to authorized users, we cannot control how third parties use or retain information once accessed. You are advised not to share sensitive information in public profiles.Online Security

If you are buying a product from Company via the foundit.in Web Site, your personal details and credit card information are scrambled using Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. SSL makes it very difficult for your information to be stolen or intercepted while being transferred. However, we cannot guarantee encryption or the privacy of your personal details and credit card information. When we receive your order, it is kept encrypted until we are ready to process it. We will take reasonable steps to keep the information you provide us with secure.
