Pragyan Child Development Centre, based in Bengaluru, India, is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center devoted to supporting children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Catering to children aged 0 to 18 years, the center offers a variety of therapies such as Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy to address conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy. Pragyan focuses on personalized care through a four-stage approach: screening, assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, ensuring tailored therapy plans. The center also provides early intervention programs for developmental delays in children as young as 3 months, with a mission to foster independence and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist, based in Bengaluru. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and monitoring progress to make data-driven adjustments. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and communication with families to provide training and support are integral to the role. The Speech Language Pathologist will also assist in addressing feeding and swallowing disorders like dysphagia and contribute to early intervention programs.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Speech Therapy and addressing communication disorders
  • Knowledge and experience in managing language disorders and speech impairments
  • Expertise in evaluating and treating conditions such as dysphagia
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmental disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Certification or licensure in speech-language pathology (if applicable)
  • Experience working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities is preferred
