Academik AI is looking for a creative and execution-focused Digital Marketing Specialist – Social Media & Content to drive our presence across digital and social platforms.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about social media growth, content creation, short-form videos, and audience engagement, especially in the domains of AI, education, and digital learning platforms. The candidate will play a key role in building brand visibility, increasing engagement, and generating leads through platform-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
- Plan and execute daily/weekly content strategies aligned with business goals
- Monitor trends and create content based on trending topics and audience behavior
- Ensure consistent brand voice and presence across all platforms
Content Creation & Strategy
- Create engaging content including reels, short videos, carousels, and posts
- Develop content calendars and campaign plans
- Work on storytelling-based content for brand building and engagement
- Collaborate with video editors and designers for high-quality creatives
Performance & Growth
- Track engagement metrics such as reach, impressions, followers, and conversions
- Optimize content strategies based on performance insights
- Run and support paid campaigns for social media growth
- Drive organic growth through consistent and high-quality content
Branding & Campaign Execution
- Support marketing campaigns for courses, programs, and platform launches
- Create platform-specific campaigns to attract students and learners
- Build strong brand positioning in the education and AI space
- Execute creative campaigns to improve audience interaction and retention
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and content teams
- Coordinate with on-screen presenters, editors, and designers
- Align social media strategies with overall business objectives
- Maintain content and campaign documentation
Skills & Experience
Social Media & Marketing
- 1–5 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms and content strategies
- Experience managing multiple platforms and growing engagement
- Exposure to ed-tech, AI, or SaaS-based marketing is preferred
Content & Creativity
- Strong content ideation and storytelling ability
- Experience in creating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts)
- Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools
Analytics & Tools
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and improve strategies
- Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Analytics
- Understanding of paid ads and boosting strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
- Exposure to influencer marketing or content-driven growth
- Understanding of student engagement and learning funnels
