About Us:

Vivenns and its associate entities, operating since 1991, provide strategic advisory, consulting, and education support services across international markets, including the United States, Australia, and India. Vivenns Global Private Limited (VGPL) partners with leading higher education institutions to deliver assessment marking and academic support services across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Business and Information Technology disciplines.

Role Overview:

As part of our continued growth, Vivenns is seeking Academic Markers (Information Technology & Systems) based in India to support overseas institutional clients by undertaking assessment marking and related academic support activities.

This role involves evaluating student assessments for undergraduate and postgraduate Information Technology programs and contributing to maintaining high academic standards across international education environments.

Employment Details:

·      Casual / Contractual role(Sessional/Seasonal)

·      Remote (India-based)

·      Work is allocated based on academic requirements, and payment is made only for marking tasks completed. There may be periods with no allocated work.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Undertake marking of tutorials, practicals, assignments, case studies, projects, reflective journal, presentations, reports and examinations for IT programs (undergraduate and postgraduate)

·      Provide clear, structured, and academic feedback in line with marking rubrics

·      Ensure consistency, accuracy, and fairness in grading

·      Follow academic policies, including assessment and academic integrity guidelines

·      Complete marking within agreed turnaround timelines

·      Detect potential academic misconduct, including plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, and misuse of generative AI

 

Requirements

·      PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline (mandatory)

·      Strong knowledge in areas such as Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, IT Networking, Application Development, DevOps, and/or IT Project Management

·      Excellent written communication and analytical skills

·      Ability to work independently and manage timelines

Preferred

·      Experience in assessment marking or teaching in higher education

·      Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Turnitin)

·      Exposure to international academic standards is an advantage
