Desktop Support Engineer

Description

We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0-1 years of experience in providing technical support to end-users in a Windows environment. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, installing software/hardware, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users in a Windows environment
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
• Maintain and upgrade computer systems and peripherals
• Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
• Document support activities and maintain accurate records

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 0-1 years of experience in providing technical support to end-users in a Windows environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with desktop and laptop hardware and peripherals
• Experience with remote support tools and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is a plus
