Role Description

The Business Development Manager is an on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for JX2 Digital. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves researching potential clients, generating leads, and building a qualified pipeline of prospects. The Business Development Manager will conduct client meetings, present service offerings, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms to close deals. The role includes collaborating with internal teams to understand capabilities, align client needs with appropriate solutions, and ensure smooth handoff for project delivery. The position also requires maintaining CRM records, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular updates on sales activities and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and manage a sales pipeline in a B2B or services environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain digital services clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, branding, or related fields, and interest in the broader digital ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Ahmedabad, organize tasks effectively, and meet targets within a part-time schedule.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management is preferred; experience in a digital agency or technology firm is an advantage.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and standard office productivity software to document activities and track results.
  • Professional, inclusive approach when interacting with clients and colleagues, with a commitment to ethical and non-discriminatory business practices.
