Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) with strong experience in outbound calling and operator acquisition within the Bus / Truck / MHCV industry. The candidate will be responsible for contacting, pitching, and converting vehicle operators into partners, while closely coordinating with the Field Sales Team and Business Head to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Calling & Lead Generation

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls (cold calling) to Bus / Truck / MHCV operators.
  • Pitch the company's business model, products, and services effectively.
  • Maintain call records and update CRM with lead status.

2. Lead Conversion & Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with operators.
  • Follow up consistently to convert prospects into active partners.
  • Address operator queries and resolve objections professionally.
  • Achieve monthly lead generation and conversion targets.

3. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with the Field Sales Team to align on lead follow-ups and closures.
  • Share qualified leads with the Business Head for strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, conversions, and market feedback.

4. Operator Onboarding

  • Manage the onboarding process of operators.
  • Collect required documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with operations team for smooth activation.
  • Ensure seamless handover post onboarding.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities in the Bus / Truck / MHCV segment.
  • Provide insights on operator behavior, pricing trends, and market challenges.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong outbound calling / cold calling experience.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling ability.
  • Ability to work with targets and performance metrics.
  • CRM knowledge preferred.
  • Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 35 years of experience in BDE / Telecalling / Cold Calling role.
  • Must have experience in Bus / Truck / MHCV / Commercial Vehicle industry.
  • Experience in operator acquisition or dealer/operator network handling will be added advantage.
  • Language proficiency: Kannada, Tamil & Telugu(mandatory).

Education:

Any Graduate (MBA Sales/Marketing preferred but not mandatory).
