Senior Academic Counsellor Bengaluru | Full-time | On-site Experience: 1–5 years (Sales / Business Development)

About the role We're hiring driven sales professionals who love conversations, thrive on targets, and are passionate about helping working professionals grow their careers through the right learning path. As a Senior Academic Counsellor, you'll be the first point of contact for ambitious professionals exploring upskilling — guiding them to courses that genuinely match their goals.

What you'll do

  • Connect with professionals exploring career upskilling, understand their goals, and recommend the most relevant program
  • Own the entire lead lifecycle — from first call to enrolment to post-sales support
  • Manage all customer interactions and follow-ups in the CRM (LeadSquared preferred)
  • Research, qualify, and follow up on leads to build a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue targets

What we're looking for

  • 1–5 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales, or BDE roles (EdTech experience is a strong plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (LeadSquared preferred)
  • A consultative, target-driven mindset with strong follow-through
  • Ability to handle objections confidently and close with empathy
