Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Jaipur. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities with schools and educational partners, including prospecting, cold outreach, and managing the full sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include lead generation, conducting meetings and presentations, understanding client needs, and positioning Aaklan's solutions to address those needs. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expansion. The Business Development Executive will collaborate closely with internal teams to provide feedback from the field and support proposals, pricing, and contract closure.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Solid understanding of business and commercial acumen, with the ability to align client needs with Aaklan's offerings.
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in account management, with a focus on relationship building, retention, and upselling.
  • Prior experience in education, edtech, or B2B sales is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
