Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven
Business Analyst (Product Domain) to join our growing team in
Surat. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
3 years of experience working closely with product management and product development teams. This role plays a key part in translating product vision and business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support successful product delivery.
You will collaborate with
Product Managers, Engineering teams, UX/UI designers, QA teams, clients, and business stakeholders to drive product strategy, development, and continuous improvement through in-depth analysis and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, Clients, and Business teams) to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and product requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance product functionality and usability.
- Perform gap analysis between current and future product states.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Support
- Work closely with Product teams to define and prioritize product features based on business value, customer needs, and market trends.
- Participate in product roadmap planning and ensure alignment with business goals and product vision.
- Support strategic product decisions through research and analysis.
- Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements and priorities.
- Share regular updates on project status, timelines, risks, and scope changes.
- User Stories & Documentation
- Create and manage detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and wireframes.
- Maintain accurate documentation using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Ensure documentation remains current and accessible to relevant teams.
- Testing & Validation
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in test plan preparation.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure product features meet business and quality expectations.
- Track defects, clarifications, and change requests to closure.
- Data & Metrics Analysis
- Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and usage data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track product progress, feature adoption, and overall performance.
- Enable data-driven decision-making for product and business teams.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in Business Analysis and Product Management.
- Proactively suggest improvements in processes, product features, and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the product domain.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, user stories, and use case creation.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, HubSpot, or similar tools.
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Domain & Soft Skills
- Strong understanding of product life cycles, user journeys, and product development processes.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles is an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative and team-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other data analysis tools.
- Strong exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in software or technology product development.
