Job Description

Mandatory Skills

  • WordPress development and customization
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • PHP and WooCommerce development
  • MySQL database fundamentals

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams or clients to understand website requirements
  • Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins
  • Develop and maintain WooCommerce-based features
  • Customize layouts, templates, and UI components
  • Perform website performance checks and basic optimizations
  • Troubleshoot layout, plugin, and content issues
  • Monitor live website performance and resolve bugs
  • Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Core Technical

  • Proven experience in WordPress development
  • Strong experience installing, configuring, and customizing themes/plugins
  • Good understanding of theme development concepts
  • Exposure to plugin development.
  • Exposure to WooCommerce customization
  • Working knowledge of MySQL and database structure
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools
  • Familiarity with browser debugging tools
  • Basic knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter or Drupal (Added Advantage)
  • Understanding of website performance optimization(Added Advantage)
  • Experience working in Agile teams

Soft Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks independently
