Position: WordPress Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes based on project requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable, high-quality WordPress themes using best practices.
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs for third-party applications and internal tools.
- Implement and manage payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.) within WordPress sites.
- Build custom layouts and features using Elementor and extend Elementor functionality via custom widgets.
- Utilize Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible and dynamic content management capabilities.
- Optimize website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and backend teams to implement seamless and responsive solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 25 years of proven experience in WordPress development.
- Experience with e-marketplace platforms or multi-vendor marketplace setups is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, filters, and the plugin/theme architecture.
- Experience with custom API development and integration.
- Proficient with Elementor Pro and custom widget creation.
- Hands-on experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
- Experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integration is a plus.
- Version control knowledge (e.g., Git) is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
