US IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment life cycle for US-based IT positions.
• Source candidates through job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
• Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience, communication, and client requirements.
• Conduct initial interviews and coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers and clients.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
• Negotiate pay rates and employment terms with candidates.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offer discussions, onboarding, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Teams, and Delivery Managers to understand hiring priorities.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment targets while maintaining quality submissions.
• Stay updated with the latest US IT technologies, market trends, and hiring practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in US IT Recruitment.
• Strong understanding of the US staffing industry and recruitment lifecycle.
• Experience recruiting for Contract (C2C/W2), Contract-to-Hire (C2H), and Full-Time positions.
• Good knowledge of US work authorization types including US Citizen, Green Card, H-1B, EAD, TN, OPT, and CPT.
• Familiarity with US tax terms such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
• Hands-on experience with job portals like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed.
• Strong sourcing skills using Boolean search techniques.
• Experience working with ATS tools and CRM systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and time management skills.
