Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Study Abroad Counselor to guide students in planning their international education journey. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in counseling students, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of study abroad processes including admissions, visas, and country-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities (UK, Canada, Australia, USA, etc.)
- Understand student profiles and provide suitable course and university options
- Assist students with application processes, documentation, and submission
- Provide guidance on visa procedures and ensure compliance with requirements
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and meetings
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications
- Coordinate with universities and internal teams for smooth processing
- Achieve individual and team targets for enrollments
- Stay updated on immigration policies, university requirements, and market trends
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- 1–2 years of experience in study abroad counseling or a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of international education systems and visa processes
- Ability to handle multiple student cases efficiently
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on conversions
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred Skills:- Experience handling multiple destinations (UK/Canada/Australia/Europe)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills
