Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in New Delhi. The Student Counselor will guide prospective and current learners on suitable courses and certifications, helping them understand program structures, eligibility, and career pathways in finance and related fields. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, conducting counseling sessions, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system. The role involves coordinating with academic and operations teams on admissions, registrations, class schedules, and examinations, while providing ongoing support throughout the learner's journey. The Student Counselor will also participate in outreach activities, webinars, and events, and contribute feedback to improve counseling processes and learner experience.
Qualifications
  • Strong student-facing skills, including Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide learners on academic and professional choices.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening to understand learner needs.
  • Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and building long-term relationships with students and families.
  • Understanding of the Education sector, preferably in professional or higher education, and familiarity with finance-related certifications is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, psychology, business, or finance is preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or student management systems, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, including occasional weekends or extended hours during peak admission periods.
  • Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education sales is highly beneficial.
