Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counselor – Overseas Education role based in Noida. The counselor will guide students through the entire overseas education journey, including shortlisting countries, universities, and programs aligned with their academic background, interests, and career goals. Daily responsibilities include meeting students and families, understanding their aspirations, explaining admission requirements, and providing clear information about courses, application timelines, and documentation. The role involves assisting with application forms, statement of purpose and other supporting documents, coordinating with universities and internal teams, and tracking each student's progress. The counselor will also conduct information sessions, attend education fairs or outreach events, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and follow up proactively to ensure a smooth and transparent counseling experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Educational Consulting and Education-related services, with an understanding of international universities, courses, and admission procedures.
  • Hands-on experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, especially for overseas education pathways and long-term career planning.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation of complex information, and the ability to build trust with students and families.
  • Ability to manage multiple student cases, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized documentation and follow-up schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a target- and outcome-oriented environment, with a focus on student satisfaction and successful admissions.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and online platforms used for applications, tracking, and virtual communication.
  • Prior experience in overseas education consulting, student advisory, or counseling roles is preferred but not mandatory.
