We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who can own our social media presence end-to-end
from strategy and content ideation to community engagement, lead generation, and performance
analysis. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media as a growth and distribution
engine, not just a posting platform.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Ideation & Strategy
- Ideate, plan, and execute social media campaigns for brand awareness, brand recall, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to script and storyboard educational content that simplifies complex concepts for teachers.
- Align content themes with business goals, product launches, and growth priorities.
Content Planning & Distribution
- Own and manage the end-to-end social media content calendar.
- Execute a structured content repurposing strategy (long-form to short-form).
- Distribute content across relevant platforms, communities, and forums to maximize reach.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across channels.
Community Engagement & Brand Building
- Build and nurture a loyal online community by actively managing comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Host and support interactive sessions such as Lives, AMAs, and Q&A formats.
- Proactively engage with industry thought leaders, educators, and creators.
- Monitor conversations and respond with empathy, clarity, and brand alignment.
Lead Generation & Conversion
- Drive qualified traffic from social platforms to the website/app.
- Optimize CTAs, captions, and bio links to improve follower-to-lead conversion.
- Support growth initiatives by aligning social content with funnel stages.
- Track and improve social-led lead quality in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
Analytics & Growth
- Track and analyze key social media metrics including Reach, Engagement Rate (ER), CTR, and follower growth.
- Plan and run experiments and A/B tests to improve content performance.
- Translate data insights into actionable improvements in content and distribution strategy.
- Prepare regular performance reports for stakeholders.
Trends & Best Practices
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Identify relevant trends early and adapt them thoughtfully to the brand's context.

Requirements
- 24 years of experience in Social Media Marketing
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube preferred)
- Proven experience in content creation, curation, and distribution
- Hands-on experience in lead generation via social media
- Working knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Brownie Points):
- Experience in EdTech / Teaching / Education domain
- Experience managing educational or knowledge-based content
