Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead and grow our digital presence across platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content creation, campaign management, analytics, and team leadership.
Qualification & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field is often preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of related field work experience, preferably with private University or Education sector.
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create unique, engaging content for all university social media platforms and manage audience engagement
- Develop creative, innovative content for scheduled posts to strengthen brand messaging
- Align social media communication with advertising, branding, and quarterly/seasonal goals
- Lead and manage the social media team, including copywriters and content creators
- Audit and analyze social media performance, including digital ad spends and ROI
- Track and evaluate social media campaigns to optimize performance and impact
- Collaborate with internal departments on campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives
- Monitor competitors social media activity and prepare analytical reports
