At Optiminastic, we're looking for a Social Media Executive who lives and breathes content, culture, and community.This role is for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, engage, share, and remember a brand. You should be creative, energetic, trend-aware, and excited to turn ideas into content that feels fresh, relevant, and platform-native.

As a Social Media Executive, you'll get to work on exciting brands, create stories that connect with real audiences, and be part of campaigns that shape how brands show up online. From brainstorming content ideas and tracking trends to shooting reels, writing captions, managing communities, and appearing on camera when needed. You'll play an active role in bringing brands to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Research trends, viral formats, and platform updates to keep client accounts relevant and engaging.
  • Assist in content ideation, scripting, and campaign planning.
  • Participate in content shoots and be comfortable appearing in videos when required.
  • Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics.
  • Engage with online communities through comments, messages, and social interactions.
  • Support SEO and SMO initiatives to improve brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with designers, video editors, and marketing teams to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Track competitor activity and identify opportunities for content innovation.

Must-Haves

  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media content.
  • Extroverted personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in front of the camera and confident while creating video content.
  • Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • High confidence, enthusiasm, and positive energy.
  • Good understanding of Instagram algorithms, trends, reels, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple content ideas and projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for social media, digital culture, and content creation.

Good to Have

  • Experience with social listening and social media monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and SMO concepts.
  • Experience managing a personal creator account, brand account, or community page.
  • Proven success in helping a social media account achieve significant audience growth (e.g., 10K+ followers on a platform).
  • Basic understanding of content analytics and reporting.
  • Photography, videography, or content editing skills.
