Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day social media content across Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, Snapchat and other emerging platforms.
• Think fast and come up with fresh, highly creative ideas around trends, launches, campaigns, topical moments and everyday brand communication.
• Understand beauty and makeup aesthetics deeply and translate them into content that feels visually strong, relevant and unmistakably on-brand.
• Plan and execute Reels, Stories, posts, carousels, BTS content and other social-first formats.
• Constantly spot trends, audios, memes, formats and cultural conversations, and find smart, brand-relevant ways for MARS to participate in them.
• Work closely with designers, editors, influencers and internal teams to take an idea from concept to final execution.
• Track content performance, understand what is working and what isn't, and use those learnings to constantly experiment with new formats and ideas.
• Bring ideas to the table proactively: we're looking for someone who doesn't always wait for a brief, but sees opportunities and acts on them.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Is quick-thinking, proactive and naturally creative.
• Has 2+ years of experience in social media content.
• Has a strong visual sense, especially when it comes to beauty and lifestyle content.
• Understands what makes content feel premium, aesthetic and social-first
• Is comfortable shooting content and being in front of the camera
• Knows basic tools for video editing and design such as Canva, inshot, VN or similar platforms.
• Can spot a trend and quickly figure out how MARS can make it relevant to the brand.
• Has strong attention to detail while still being able to execute quickly.
• Loves makeup, beauty and the internet and naturally keeps up with what people are talking about.
• Can brainstorm quickly and turn even a simple brief, trend or thought into multiple fresh, creative ideas.
