Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ITSM along with strong hands-on and architectural experience in at least one additional ServiceNow module, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance platform solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions with a primary focus on ITSM
- Provide architectural leadership across ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow architecture
- Define technical roadmaps, solution designs, and best practices
- Lead and guide development teams on ServiceNow platform standards and architecture
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities and best practices
- Perform platform assessments, performance tuning, and technical optimizations
- Design integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and APIs
- Oversee data migration, upgrade strategies, and release management
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance standards
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex ServiceNow issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and leadership teams
- Support presales activities including solution design and effort estimation (if required)
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience with ServiceNow ITSM
- Expertise in at least one additional ServiceNow module, such as:
- ITOM
- HRSD
- CSM
- SecOps
- GRC
- SPM / PPM
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model
- Strong experience with:
- ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)
- Integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
- CMDB and CSDM framework
- Service Portal / Now Experience UI
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, performance tuning, and platform scalability
- Knowledge of security, access controls, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITSM / other modules)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Presales or solution estimation experience
- Experience working in remote/global delivery models
