Role Description The Senior Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and enrollment growth by identifying new business opportunities with institutions, corporate partners, and channel associates. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting meetings and presentations, managing the sales pipeline, and negotiating agreements aligned with Unishala's educational offerings. The role involves close collaboration with marketing, counseling, and academic teams to align business development initiatives with learner needs and program objectives. The Senior Business Development Executive is also expected to track market trends, report performance metrics, and contribute to long-term growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in business development, B2B sales, and relationship management, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue or enrollment targets.
  • Strength in client engagement, including prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, and negotiation with institutional and corporate stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans for new segments and partnerships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex educational offerings clearly and persuasively.
  • Organizational and planning skills to manage a sales pipeline, maintain accurate reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in education, edtech, training, or related service industries is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, target-driven environment in Gurugram, with the flexibility to attend events, seminars, and client meetings as needed.
