Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to accelerate our growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing high-value business opportunities. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, forging strategic partnerships, and contributing directly to our revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential customers through targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.
- Client Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and stakeholder negotiations to convert leads into clients.
- Market Research & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, customer pain points, and competitors to shape and adapt go-to-market strategies.
- Sales Pipeline Ownership: Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, tracking each stage from lead to closure.
- Partnership Development: Explore and develop collaborations with ecosystem partners that align with AiSensy's vision.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, goal-oriented culture.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth handovers.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide actionable sales insights and performance metrics to leadership to inform business decisions.
Experience
- 2+ years in Business Development or B2B Sales (preferably SaaS or tech-driven platforms)
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Strong grasp of SaaS and B2B sales cycles
- Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills
- Strong negotiation, deal-closing, and objection-handling skills
- Proven ability to manage large accounts and complex sales
- CRM proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making
- Collaborative and adaptable team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or customer engagement platforms
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API and conversational marketing tools
- Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients
- Strategic thinker with the ability to guide and develop junior sales talent
