Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Business Development Executive based in Gurugram. The Senior Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate and qualify leads, and build strong relationships with prospective learners and institutional partners. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultative sales conversations, understanding learner needs, recommending suitable programs, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to enrollment closure. The role also involves managing key accounts, tracking performance metrics, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to improve outreach strategies and learner experience. The Senior Business Development Executive is expected to meet and exceed sales targets while representing Hike Education's mission and values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify, nurture, and convert prospective learners and partners.
  • Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to manage pipelines, maintain relationships, and drive repeat and referral enrollments.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and the ability to conduct persuasive presentations and counseling sessions.
  • Relevant experience in EdTech, education counseling, or B2C sales is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work with targets, use CRM tools, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and a learner-focused mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
