Job Description

InBody India is looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Specialist – Government (B2G) to expand business across Government, Defence, and PSU sectors. This role focuses on identifying institutional opportunities, managing tender-based sales, and building long-term partnerships with public sector stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with government procurement processes, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Government, Defence, and PSU institutions
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including tender identification, bidding, negotiations, and order closure
  • Handle GeM portal activities, e-tendering processes, RFQs, RFPs, and compliance documentation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement committees, biomedical teams, and key decision-makers
  • Drive consultative selling and align product offerings with institutional and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure repeat business, renewals, and expansion opportunities through relationship management
  • Track government healthcare schemes, procurement policies, and sector-specific trends
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify emerging public-sector opportunities
  • Represent the organization at government expos, healthcare summits, conferences, and institutional meetings
  • Maintain accurate tender trackers, sales pipeline data, MIS reports, and compliance records
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, tender guidelines, and documentation standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in B. Pharma or equivalent; MBA (Marketing) preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in Government Sales / Institutional Sales / Tender-Based Sales
  • Strong working knowledge of GeM Portal, e-Tendering, and Public Procurement Systems
  • Experience handling RFQ/RFP documentation, compliance, and bidding processes
  • Excellent negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate bureaucratic structures and manage long sales cycles
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, follow-ups, and project execution
