Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Chennai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with clients. They will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure the best service delivery, meet sales targets, and prepare detailed reports on sales performance. The role requires active engagement with clients and stakeholders to optimize DG logistics solutions for their specific needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Business Development, Sales Strategy, and Client Relationship Management
  • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Logistics, including Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Land Transport operations
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and documentation such as IATA DGR and IMDG regulations
  • Experience in industries like Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, or similar will be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is preferred
  • Fluency in English and Tamil; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
