Tratec Engineers is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic modular trailers, specialized trailers, and heavy transport systems, with a 200+ strong workforce serving both defence and commercial sectors. Our engineering-led approach has made us a trusted name in heavy haulage and transport solutions across India. We are now strengthening our commercial business focused on hydraulic axles and related accessories for the transport industry.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead and grow our civilian/commercial sales of manufactured hydraulic axles and accessories. The role centres on building and maintaining relationships with transporters and heavy-haulage operators nationwide, driving revenue, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers and our production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for hydraulic axles and accessories across the Indian transport market.
  • Identify, engage, and build long-term relationships with transporters, fleet owners, and logistics operators.
  • Travel regularly (minimum 7–10 days per month) to meet clients, understand requirements, and close orders.
  • Coordinate closely with the production team to align delivery timelines, specifications, and customer expectations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — enquiry, quotation, negotiation, order, and post-sales support.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to management.

  • Requirements

    • 15+ years of sales experience, preferably in trailers, axles, automotive components, or heavy engineering/transport equipment.
    • Proven track record of managing pan-India B2B sales and key accounts.
    • Strong understanding of the transport/logistics industry and its buyers.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
    • Engineering or technical background preferred; MBA a plus.
