Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving growth in the digital payments sector, focusing on UPI, credit card/debit card payment solutions, and international payment acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for our UPI, credit card, debit card, and international payment solutions
- Lead PA & PG merchant acquisition initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the fintech ecosystem
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients across various payment solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants across all payment methods
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in UPI, credit/debit card, and international payment-acquiring landscapes
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in fintech, payments, or related industries
- Strong understanding of UPI, credit/debit cards, international payments, and the broader fintech ecosystem in India
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with payment gateways, payment aggregators, or other fintech products
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for payment aggregators in India, especially in credit card/debit card and international payments
- Familiarity with technical aspects of payment integrations across UPI, credit/debit cards, and international payments
