Role Overview
We're looking for a Sales Manager who can drive new business for our Brand Reputation and Strategic Communications unit. This role is focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.
You'll work closely with leadership, strategy, and client servicing teams to shape solutions that address real business and reputation challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and build a pipeline of potential clients across sectors
- Proactively reach out via networking, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals
- Spot opportunities where brand reputation, PR, or strategic communications can create impact
- Business Development
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to closure
- Understand client challenges and translate them into strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to build tailored pitches and proposals
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Position the agency as a strategic partner, not just a vendor
- Ensure smooth handover to servicing teams post-closure
- Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client movements
- Identify emerging opportunities in reputation management, crisis communications, and digital PR
- Revenue Ownership
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate sales forecasts
What We're Looking For
- 8 -10 years of experience in sales/business development (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of PR, brand reputation, or marketing solutions
- Proven ability to close high-value deals
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- A strong network across industries is a big plus
- Self-starter who doesn't need babysitting to chase leads
Nice to Have (But Not Mandatory)
- Experience selling integrated communications or PR services
- Existing relationships with marketing/communications heads
- Comfort working in a fast-paced agency environment
