Role Overview

We're looking for a Sales Manager who can drive new business for our Brand Reputation and Strategic Communications unit. This role is focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.

You'll work closely with leadership, strategy, and client servicing teams to shape solutions that address real business and reputation challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and build a pipeline of potential clients across sectors
  • Proactively reach out via networking, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals
  • Spot opportunities where brand reputation, PR, or strategic communications can create impact
  • Business Development
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to closure
  • Understand client challenges and translate them into strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build tailored pitches and proposals
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Position the agency as a strategic partner, not just a vendor
  • Ensure smooth handover to servicing teams post-closure
  • Market Intelligence
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client movements
  • Identify emerging opportunities in reputation management, crisis communications, and digital PR
  • Revenue Ownership
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate sales forecasts

What We're Looking For

  • 8 -10 years of experience in sales/business development (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of PR, brand reputation, or marketing solutions
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • A strong network across industries is a big plus
  • Self-starter who doesn't need babysitting to chase leads

Nice to Have (But Not Mandatory)

  • Experience selling integrated communications or PR services
  • Existing relationships with marketing/communications heads
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced agency environment
