Job Summary:Opulo India is a premium wooden flooring brand, and we are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Business Development professional to drive sales and expand our market presence.
The role involves meeting clients, showcasing our product range, managing leads, and building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and end customers. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field work, client interactions, and delivering a premium buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Connect with Client and convert leads provided by the company through calls and meetings
- Conduct client meetings (in-office and on-site) to showcase products and close sales
- Actively generate new leads through networking, referrals, site visits, and market outreach
- Present and sell Opulo India's premium wooden flooring solutions
- Manage product sampling, including carrying samples, showcasing, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, installation) to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Engage with architects, interior designers, and contractors for business development
- Track all client interactions and sales updates systematically (CRM or internal tools)
- Represent the brand professionally at all times, maintaining a premium experience
- Be open to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities
Requirements:- 2–6 years of experience in sales/business development (preferably in building materials, interiors, construction, or related industry)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with field work and client-facing roles
- Ability to understand client requirements and recommend suitable flooring solutions
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to lead generation and closures
- Well-presented, confident, and aligned with a premium brand image
- Willingness to travel as required
