The company trades a wide range of materials, including steel plates, galvanized sheets, MS angles, mild steel beams, MS channels, mild steel bars, and stainless steel bars. Akriti Sales Corporation maintains a substantial inventory of 5,000 to 6,000 MT at its Ahmedabad warehouse, enabling reliable and timely supply to its customers.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Vadodara. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for cement and steel products. Daily tasks include visiting clients and project sites, preparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and coordinating orders with the warehouse and logistics teams. The role also involves tracking market trends, monitoring competitor activity, and providing regular sales reports and forecasts. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales and business development skills, ideally within construction materials, steel, or related industrial products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with diverse customer groups.
  • Capability to manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-up, closing, and post-sales support.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Good knowledge of the local market in Vadodara and surrounding regions; familiarity with distributor and supplier networks is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site, travel regularly for client meetings, and manage time effectively to meet targets.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, especially in cement, steel, or building materials, is highly desirable.
