Role overview & Key Responsibilities:

As our SDR, you sit at two ends of the pipeline. On the inbound side, you are the first human voice every prospect hears: respond fast, qualify hard, hand off clean to our sales team.

On the outbound side, you build and maintain the prospect lists that power our cold campaigns: source, enrich, deduplicate, deliver.

You don't run outbound campaigns yourself. The GTM team owns that. You make sure they always have a clean, ICP-matched list to run against, and you make sure no inbound lead falls through the cracks.

What You Will Do

Inbound qualification:

  • Respond to every inbound lead within 4 hours during business hours
  • Run 15-minute discovery calls to qualify intent, budget, timeline, decision-maker
  • Hand off qualified leads (MQLs) to sales with clean, complete notes in HubSpot
  • Run nurture sequences for leads that aren't ready yet
  • Maintain HubSpot pipeline hygiene: every lead correctly tagged, stage updated, source attributed
  • Send a weekly report on inbound funnel performance: volume, qualification rate, meeting conversion, source mix

Outbound list building:

  • Manage Apollo (or equivalent tool) and source prospect lists per ICP spec from the GTM team
  • Enrich contacts: emails, LinkedIn URLs, titles, company size, location
  • Deduplicate against existing customers, prior leads, and active campaigns
  • Validate emails to keep deliverability high
  • Deliver weekly batches of clean, ready-to-run lead lists
  • Maintain ICP libraries and exclusion lists

What we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years of B2B SDR, inside sales, or sales development experience
  • Comfortable on the phone; you don't freeze on discovery calls and can think on your feet
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM) and Apollo (or similar prospecting tool)
  • Strong written communication for follow-up emails and CRM notes
  • Commercially minded: you care about whether your work is generating real pipeline, not just activity
  • Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to work faster and qualify better
  • Detail-oriented enough to manage 50+ active leads and multiple list builds without things slipping
