Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, and setting up qualified meetings for the sales team. This role is critical in building a strong sales pipeline and requires a mix of research, communication, and persistence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients across target markets (SaaS, AI, IT services, etc.)
- Generate leads through outbound channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria
- Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and activity data
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies
- Track and report key metrics such as lead conversion rates and pipeline growth
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of SaaS, AI, or IT services (preferred)
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
- Good research and analytical skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and highly organized
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold emailing tools, and outreach platforms is an advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
- Interest in AI-driven products and startup ecosystems
- Worked with US ,UK ,Europe Market
