Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and analyze customer feedback to define product strategies.
- Develop product positioning, pricing, and USPs tailored to regional markets (India, MENA, Africa, SEA).
- Identify portfolio gaps and collaborate with R&D and sourcing teams to initiate new product development (NPD) initiatives.
2. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Design and execute GTM plans for new product launches, including messaging, target segments, channel strategy, and pricing.
- Enable channel partners through product training, demo kits, sales collateral, and case studies.
- Track and drive launch success metrics, including revenue targets, market penetration, and brand recall.
3. Product Marketing
- Create, update, and manage technical and commercial product documentation such as spec sheets, comparison charts, FAQs, and videos.
- Collaborate with Marcom teams for region-specific campaigns, exhibitions, and content creation.
- Maintain internal knowledge hubs, including competitive analysis decks, positioning matrices, and global product catalogs.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between sales, R&D, sourcing, quality, and marketing teams.
- Provide strategic input for product rationalization, certifications, and roadmap adjustments.
- Support pricing committees with cost-benefit analysis and pricing strategy recommendations.
5. International Business Focus
- Adapt product strategies, packaging, and positioning for export markets considering grid behavior, regulations, and customer segments.
- Collaborate with international business heads to optimize product strategy for lithium, hybrid, off-grid, and solar inverter segments.
- Monitor regional trends, such as lithium adoption in emerging markets, and update tactical plans accordingly.
Experience Required:
- 5 - 8years of experience in product management, strategy, or marketing, ideally in energy, battery, electronics, or solar sectors.
- Proven experience in product positioning, GTM strategy, and portfolio management.
- Experience in international business development (APAC, EMEA, NA) is a plus.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
