Job purpose:
Design & implement the best engineered technical solutions using latest technologies and tools.
Who you are:
- Lead product design and delivery for US background check and screening solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory and customer needs.
- Think AI first approach for product and leverage latest available tools for faster product discovery and product development.
- Translate complex compliance and user requirements into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Scrum, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure successful product delivery.
- Maintain and manage the product roadmap, keeping it aligned with business priorities, regulatory updates, and customer feedback.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to drive timely, quality delivery.
- Drive product decisions based on user insights, competitor analysis, and evolving market trends.
- Own product features like criminal background checks, employment verification, identity verification, and adverse action workflows.
- Ensure products meet FCRA, EEOC, state/local regulations, and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Work closely with data providers and third-party vendors to improve product data accuracy and turnaround times.
- Prioritize product features that balance speed, compliance, and user experience. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time (TAT), accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on changes in regulatory landscapes and ensure product offerings remain compliant.
- Advocate for a seamless, user-friendly experience for employers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
- Support enterprise-scale background screening solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Take ownership of continuous improvement based on feedback and operational insights.
