Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager, located in Tambaram. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met. This role involves implementing process improvements, managing budgets and resources, and maintaining operational efficiency across all departments. Additional responsibilities include leading and developing teams, monitoring key performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Operations management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and process optimization
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, Total Quality Management (TQM), and compliance practices
- Strong leadership abilities, including team development, employee engagement, and conflict resolution
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and implement strategic initiatives
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across teams and departments
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field required. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
