Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a Machines Manufacturing Company in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination with clients, corporate institutions, and railway authorities. This role requires managing day-to-day operations, overseeing quality control, and significant touring commitments to ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Client and Corporate Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and corporate institutions. You'll coordinate with them to understand their requirements and build strong relationships to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Railway Authorities Liaison: Establish and maintain communication with railway authorities to facilitate project approvals and ensure adherence to railway standards. This includes confirming all projects and products comply with relevant regulations.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing company, ensuring production and delivery schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet or exceed industry standards. You'll conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Touring: Be prepared for frequent travel to meet clients, visit corporate institutions, and coordinate with railway authorities to ensure projects are executed according to plan.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for coordinating with clients and corporate institutions.
  • Experience or the ability to quickly learn how to liaise with railway authorities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day operations and production schedules.
  • A solid understanding of quality control procedures and the ability to conduct audits.
  • The ability and willingness for frequent travel.
