Job Summary:
You'll play a key role in building a home-grown brand that is shaking up a traditionally sleepy beverage segment.
This role is about driving visibility, velocity, and brand recall in the market. You will execute high-impact marketing initiatives across digital, retail, and on-ground channels ensuring ZUMI stands out on shelf and online.
You will work closely with other team members and founders to translate strategy into measurable market traction.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & USP-Led Campaigns
- Drive campaigns centered around ZUMI's core USPs (no refined sugar, lactose-free, better-for-you indulgence)
- Build a new-generation brand voice that feels modern, bold, and differentiated in a traditionally sleepy category
- Develop sharp, benefit-led communication that clearly stands out in-store and online
- Own SKU-level campaigns to push priority flavours and improve sell-through
- Content Creation & Digital Execution
- Create high-quality content for social media, performance ads, retail creatives, and brand storytelling
- Own the content calendar and ensure consistency in tone and visual identity
- Work with designers/agencies where required but stay hands-on in execution
- Track engagement and optimise content based on performance
Launch & Channel Activation
- Execute Tetrapak SKU launches across retail, modern trade, and quick commerce
- Coordinate digital, in-store, and trade activations for maximum visibility
- Ensure launch timelines, creatives, and POSM are market-ready
Retail & Trade Marketing
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and visibility drives
- Deploy and track POSM execution quality
- Align marketing pushes with channel priorities alongside sales
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Track competitor activity and pricing moves
- Capture structured on-ground feedback from distributors and retailers
- Translate insights into sharper campaigns and positioning
Performance & ROI Tracking
- Track campaign performance across digital and offline channels
- Monitor awareness, engagement, and impact on sales velocity
- Continuously refine campaigns based on data
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 0-2 years of experience in marketing (FMCG / D2C preferred)
- Strong communication and content skills
- Comfortable working across digital and on-ground marketing
- Basic understanding of performance marketing and analytics
- High ownership mindset and execution bias
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
