Role Overview
We are looking for a results-oriented Logistics Manager to lead regional logistics operations, manage vendor networks, and drive delivery performance. This role involves leading a team, managing transport operations, and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Logistics Operations
- Oversee dispatches, tracking, delivery performance, and issue resolution across multiple cities.
- Plan multi-location shipments, route optimization, and daily logistics activities.
- Drive real-time tracking and ensure SLA compliance.
- Vendor & Team Management
- Manage relationships with transporters, 3PL partners, and warehouse operators.
- Lead a team of logistics executives and field coordinators across zones.
- Review team performance and implement process improvements.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure GST, e-way bill, LR, and POD documentation accuracy.
- Support internal audits and align logistics with finance and compliance teams.
- Maintain accurate records for reconciliation and reporting.
- Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Build and maintain regional dashboards (TAT, delivery %, cost per ton, etc.).
- Collaborate with Sales, Ops, and Customer Success to align logistics priorities.
- Provide data-backed inputs to leadership for decision-making.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in logistics/supply chain roles with team management exposure.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and B2B delivery models.
- Hands-on experience in TMS/ERP platforms and logistics analytics.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, teams, and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Based in or open to relocating to Visakhapatnam or Bangalore with willingness to travel.
- Process-oriented leader with a high sense of ownership and operational excellence.
