- Position Title: Regional Logistics Manager- Mumbai

- Reporting to: DGM-Logistics
- Direct Reporting: 1 (On Rolls)
- Languages Known- English & Hindi & Local Language (Preferred)
- Industry- FMCD (Small Appliances, preferably)/FMCG/FMEG/Luggage /Building Material.
Key Responsibilities-
Warehousing-
- Identifying, Selection & Appointment of 3PL/CFA service partners for warehousing
- Day-to-day monitoring of 5-6 DC/RWs/CWS Warehouses
- Ensuring operational efficiencies & cost management of Warehouses along with regular reporting on costs as compared to annual budgets
- Lead warehouse capability enhancement projects and drive the implementation with the delivery of results.
- Responsible for warehouse agreements and the closures.
- Functional Audit of all warehouses
- Handle in New Warehouse launch - Planning and Strategy
- Should be abreast with latest taxation rules with regards to warehousing in India (GST Impact)
- Expertise in Warehouse Management systems(WMS) and their integration with various other supply chain systems
- Responsible for effective inventory management and planning and well versed with different planning techniques (min-max, reorder point etc.)
- Responsible for Daily, Weekly, & Monthly warehouse KPIs and for managing all the operational metrics
- Responsible for warehouse Cost control, Authority Delegation and Process enhancement and improvement measures.
- Support Head Logistics in the execution of the warehouse's strategy
- Should have in-depth knowledge & understanding of warehousing SOPs along with clear understanding of every warehouse processes in Detail and should be able to implement new IT/ Automation techniques and processes wherever required.
Transportation (First Mile + Mid Mile & Last Mile)-
- Responsible for new initiatives and Innovations for Transportation
- Appointment and management of carriers.
- Vendor Management and Negotiation of freight
- Responsible for overall cost optimization and AOP budget planning as per the targets
- Effective load allocation to freight partners and monitoring operational Performances.
- Constantly evaluate new freight partners to expand coverage
- Partner Management mentoring and grooming by technology intervention and getting them on a singular platform for effective management.
- Conducting audits at Transporter HUBs & WHs to ensure adherence of SOPs
- Assisting Regional planning & executing new Logistics projects
- Maintaining and monitoring SLA's whilst keeping the costs in control.
- Adept in Transportation Management System and its Integration.
- Well versed with Last Mile delivery planning
- Ensuring for desired transport service levels as per targets within the allocated cost budget
- Planning and implementing initiatives for enhancing customer experience in transport
Supply & Inventory Management-
- Ensuring targeted placement efficiency SKU branch level for all channels against the requirements given in the S&OP process.
- Ownership of the demand & supply planning for the region against the S&OP targets.
- Liaise with Plant, Regional & Mother warehouses to ensure the availability of the product across the channels.
- Fill rate fulfilment targeted % against orders given for various channels.
People & Stakeholders management-
- Defined, communicated, and trained the regional executive & Outsourced Partners on the SOP laid down for warehouse & transport management
- Develop required competencies in the regional executive
- Impart training for enhancing skills & new technologies/initiatives.
- Liaise with Regional Sales, Service, Commercial & external vendors.
Remarks-
- Experience in Logistics Operation is compulsory, & Candidates from Accounts & Commercial will not be considered.
- Exposure to CFA operation is a must.
- On-roll team Handling is a must.
- Travel requirement (Minimum 10 Days across their respective Zones)
- Working Knowledge of SAP is preferred, & Good Working knowledge of Excel is compulsory.
- Good Communication & Influencing Skills.
