The incumbent will be responsible for the warehousing distribution of the entire West region operations.
Job Responsibilities
Warehousing:
- Manage warehouse operations of Central Distribution Center serving India Market and Regional Distribution Center for West region with a total area of about 3 Lacs Sq. ft.
- Responsible for Export Operations (Middle East, Africa, South Asia)
- Oversee Pan India Spares Distribution from Mother Hub
- Execute warehouse operations with 3rd Party Logistics service provider
- Improve Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory transactions, meeting business SLAs
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through periodic counts and audits
- Ensure safety standards and compliant work environment
- Establish controls and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, ISO
- Supervise, coach, and train operations workforce
Regional Distribution West:
- Accountable for West Regional distribution
- Coordinate with Sales, Order Fulfillment, International Business for timely shipments
- Liaise with Transporters, Customers, Suppliers, Warehouse Contractors
- Handle customer claims and ensure timely processing within SLAs
- Manage Inward/Outward operations to ensure >95% service level, prevent detention/demurrage
- Coordinate with Regional Sales to ensure timely deliveries
Operations and Cost Management:
- Build and manage robust warehouse operations for timely customer delivery
- Review, process, audit vendor/transporter bills for the West region
- Monitor 3PL/Transporters for Cost, Quality, Lead Time, and Service
- Responsible for Budgeting, Spending, and monthly provisioning of warehouse expenses
- Collaborate across functions to lead projects (including digital initiatives)

Skill Set:
- Graduate or Engineer with MBA
- Knowledge of Logistics and Warehousing
- SAP, WMS, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Technical and analytical skills for MIS, reports, dashboards
- 48 years relevant experience
- Good communication skills
