Job Description

Oversee all legal matters, including compliance, regulatory issues, and corporate governance including Labour and Employment Laws, Environmental and Safety regulations.
Provide legal advice to the management team and other departments as required.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders.
Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration processes effectively while effectively coordinating with external stakeholders.
Handle all legal aspects related to fundraising, investments, and financial transactions.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risks and liabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
Experience in the chemical industry or related industrial/manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to working 6 days (alternate weeks) and travelling to the plant locations when required.
