Instructional Design Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

· Design storyboards for engaging and visually appealing videos to enhance learning effectiveness.

· Consult, analyze, and deliver tasks meeting the quality and timeline benchmarks

· Review transcripts and closed caption (CC) text

· Acquire and apply technology skills to build courses on a learning management system (LMS) or microlearning pieces on authoring tools

· Effectively collaborate and communicate with the team members and stakeholders

· Remain current with and have a thorough understanding of the emerging applications of instructional multimedia, instructional technology, and trends in online education.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline

· 0 to 1 year of experience in instructional design and online content development

· Strong ability to convert ideas into effective and engaging visuals

· Excellent communication and time management skills

· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

· Keen attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication, management, and organizational skills

· Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

· Degree or certification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred

· Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

· Familiarity with known learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.)

· Knowledge of or familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate 360
