Role Overview:The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resource management including recruitment, employee engagement, policy implementation, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive professional who can align HR strategies with business goals and create a culture that reflects Communal's values of creativity, accountability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process from identifying staffing needs to onboarding.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract top talent across functions including marketing, creative, operations, and retail.
- Partner with management to create strong employer branding and position Communal as a preferred workplace in the beauty industry.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement- Build and maintain a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and productivity.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and cultural events.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
3. Performance & Development- Design and implement performance appraisal systems that encourage growth and accountability.
- Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
- Support leadership in succession planning and organizational structure optimization.
4. Compliance & Policy Management- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, HR regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain employee records, payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management systems.
- Draft, update, and communicate HR policies and SOPs as the company evolves.
5. Strategic HR & Culture Building- Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with company vision.
- Drive diversity, inclusion, and belonging across all teams.
- Use HR analytics to make data-driven decisions and improve employee retention.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 510 years of proven HR experience, preferably in retail, beauty, or consumer brands.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and people management practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with HR software and performance management tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute with empathy and structure.
