Job Description

Company Summary

Gresham is a global financial services technology company specialising in enterprise data automation. We help financial institutions ensure that their operational, regulatory and management data is complete, accurate, timely and fully auditable — particularly within complex environments where data is distributed across multiple systems.

Our solutions automate data controls, reconciliations, workflows and exception management, enabling clients to reduce operational risk, strengthen data governance and enhance confidence in reporting across highly regulated environments. Serving both buy-side and sell-side organisations worldwide, Gresham partners with clients to deliver trusted, transparent and resilient data operations.

Job Purpose

The People & Culture Business Partner is an integral part of the People & Culture team, working in partnership with global, functional teams to deliver high-quality, commercially focused and legally compliant people support.

You will play a key role in enabling the business to deliver its objectives by embedding effective people practices, supporting organisational change and ensuring a consistent, positive employee experience.

As a trusted partner, you will provide specialist coaching, guidance and influence to managers, maintaining excellent standards across core HR activity while contributing to the continuous improvement of people processes and ways of working.

Weekly Office Pattern: two days in Gurugram, two days in Noida, and one day working from home.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to manage employee relations cases effectively, building confidence and capability in people management
  • Support managers with short-, medium- and long-term resourcing needs, including recruitment, role design, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, onboarding and development activity to ensure high-quality hiring and effective integration of new starters
  • In conjunction with Reward and Benefits colleagues, support the delivery of reward, pay review and recognition processes
  • Maintain accurate people data, records and documentation, ensuring compliance, data integrity and consistency across HR systems and processes
  • Work collaboratively across the People & Culture team to share knowledge, ensure smooth handovers and maintain operational excellence
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and quality within core HR processes and employee experience

Job Requirement

  • Relevant HR qualification or equivalent professional experience (CIPD or local equivalent desirable)
  • Significant experience delivering generalist HR support within India in a commercial or multinational environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian labour legislation and HR best practice; experience supporting global organisations preferred
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day HR operations independently and at pace
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify risks and implement practical, compliant solutions
  • Confident using HR systems and people data to inform decision-making and provide insight
  • Able to build strong working relationships and credibility at all levels of the organisation
  • Highly customer-focused with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
