Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for a Strategy role in People Management. The role involves overseeing and managing human resources operations, including recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. The incumbent will lead strategic HR initiatives to support organizational objectives, ensure employee well-being, and act as a critical partner in fostering a collaborative company culture. Areness intends to establish global footprints and build and manage an exhaustive team with domain experts nurturing a fine balance between veterans and youth. Role will include exhaustive market research, designing futuristic strategies and developing long term policies. Candidates who do not have a past experience but are self motivated and keen on an opportunity in managing teams can also apply.

Key Deliverables

  • Direct and guide the implementation of the workforce strategy as per the long term vision of Areness.
  • Diagnose need for and broker specialized HR services from the Specialty Areas to deliver high quality solutions to business needs.
  • Support the business with advice and counsel to ensure the integration of the HR strategy with the business strategy.
  • Consult with business leaders to diagnose current and future HR needs and develop a strategy for resolution.
  • Develop and leverage HR metrics to ensure quality, timely and consistent service delivery.
  • Provide leadership and program ownership on select organizational programs such as management training, career pathing, performance management, compensation management.
  • Keep up to date on trends and legal developments, implementing the necessary actions to maintain compliance with the local Laws relative to employment practices.
  • Up-level organizational talent through proactive coaching in hiring and performance management.
  • Uphold organizational culture by addressing employee relations issues quickly and consistently.
  • Provide advice and direction to managers and employees to resolve HR problems and concerns.
  • Proactively work with managers to drive continual improvement across HR KPIs in each business area.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in HR and business processes and implement solutions.
  • Work with the administration team to create processes and ensure that absences are covered to guarantee that a consistent service is delivered.
  • Promote the company culture within the business unit with the goal of improving relations with employees and attaining a high level of employee engagement.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for assigned business units to fill entry level, professional, technical and management positions, which include sourcing candidates, interviewing to determine suitability for position, providing feedback to managers and candidates as to fit for position, extending offer to candidates and reviewing all new hire paperwork for accuracy.

Requirements

  • Full time degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in People Management, preferable in HR, however, candidates with experience in sectors which involves a regular interactaction with people can also apply.
  • Extensive experience building and leading large-scale structural and organizational design changes.
  • Expertise in identifying and driving HR solutions which align to business strategy.
  • Strong interest in Recruitment, Workforce Planning, and Employee Relations
  • Proficiency in Performance Management, Training, and Leadership Development
  • Knowledge of HR Policies, Employment Law, and Compliance Standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor diverse teams while fostering inclusion
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential, fast paced, flexible and collaborative environment
