About The Role
We are looking for a Electrical Panel (HT/LT) Costing Engineer for our Jaipur and Bhiwadi offices. You will be responsible for reviewing client enquiries, preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical panels, and submitting techno-commercial proposals — independently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client enquiries — BOQ, SLDs, GA drawings, panel specifications, and datasheets
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) covering switchgear, busbars, enclosures, control wiring, relays, CTs, and accessories
- Collect and maintain current pricing from OEM vendors (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T)
- Prepare full cost sheets: material, fabrication, assembly labour, testing, packing, and logistics
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and quotation documents
- Route proposals for internal approval before sending to the client
- Suggest alternate makes or configurations to reduce cost without compromising quality
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams for inputs and technical clarifications
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in electrical panel costing, estimation, or tendering
- Good working knowledge of LT panel components — ACBs, MCCBs, contactors, busbars, switchgear accessories
- Ability to read SLDs, GA drawings, and BOQs independently
- Experience with OEM vendor catalogues and pricing — Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T
- Proficient in MS Excel; clear written communication in English and Hindi
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Good to Have
- Exposure to HT panel costing (11 kV / 33 kV VCB panels, HT APFC)
- Knowledge of IEC 61439-1 / IS 8623 panel standards
- Prior experience preparing proposals for EPC clients, consultants, or PMCs
