Job Position Title: Associate/Senior Associate/Manager - Jaipur
Roles & Responsibilities: Advisory in RE transition assistance
The candidate will lead day-to-day delivery of consultancy engagements in the Renewable Energy advisory space. The role requires independent ownership of workstreams including project design, techno-financial analysis, bid process management, regulatory advisory, and green building consulting with direct interface with government and institutional clients.
· Lead assessment of client's electricity load portfolio. Eg consumption patterns, tariff structures, connection categories to design optimal solarization strategies.
· Evaluate and recommend suitable implementation frameworks (Net Metering, GNM, VNM, Open Access, etc.) based on client's load profile and regulatory landscape.
· Assess on-premises vs off-site installation scenarios, system sizing, and project structuring to maximize financial and regulatory benefits.
· Evaluate suitability of identified sites for RE installation.
2. Techno-Financial Analysis :
· Develop financial models for current vs post-solarization energy expenditure over project lifecycle
· Lead comparative analysis of implementation modes (CAPEX, RESCO, HAM, etc.) with NPV-based financial projections
· Assessment of applicable charges, exemptions, and incentives under prevailing regulatory frameworks
· Evaluate viability of emerging technologies including BESS, hybrid systems, and energy efficiency interventions
3. Bid Intelligence & Bid Process Management :
· Design transaction structures and bid frameworks for selection of RESCO/EPC/other vendors
· Lead preparation of RFP, Model PPA, and other bid/transaction documents
· De-risk transaction documents to improve bankability and attract competitive participation
· Drive bid evaluation through technical and financial analysis.
4. Regulatory & Policy Advisory :
· Interpret and apply regulations and policies to client-specific contexts
· Track regulatory developments across states and identify best practices applicable to client engagements
· Support in drafting policy recommendations, responses to draft regulations, and stakeholder consultations
5. Green Buildings & Sustainability Advisory :
· Lead carbon baseline assessments, ECBC gap analysis, and energy audit exercises
· Drive preparation of Net Zero Roadmaps and Technology Blueprints (Solar, LED, BMS, EV, Smart HVAC, Water Efficiency)
· Evaluate CapEx vs OpEx models for energy efficiency and sustainability interventions.
6. Client & Stakeholder Management :
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day engagement matters
· Prepare presentations, reports, and deliverables for senior client forums
· Coordinate internally with engagement leadership for quality and timely delivery
· Support in business development, market research, proposal drafting, and opportunity identification.
Qualifications & Experience :
B.E/B.Tech · MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred.
Experience 6-12 years of relevant experience, with minimum 04 (four) years in the renewable energy or power sector.
Sector Exposure · Demonstrated experience in solar project design, bid process management, RE policy/regulatory consulting, or energy advisory. · Experience with government/institutional clients preferred.
Skills :
Mandatory
· Hands-on experience in bid process management — RFP drafting, PPA structuring, bid evaluation
· Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (MS Excel)
· Effective interpretation and articulation of regulatory and policy frameworks
· Competent in preparing high-quality presentations (MS PowerPoint) and structured report writing
· Experience in client-facing roles, preferably with government or institutional clients
Preferred
· Familiarity with net metering, GNM/VNM, open access, and distributed RE frameworks
· Working knowledge of GenAI/data analytics tools.
