Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for the Head of Sales and Business Development. The role involves leading and managing the sales department, developing strategies to achieve sales targets, and building strong client relationships. Responsibilities include overseeing account management, driving business growth, analyzing market trends, and mentoring a team of sales professionals. The candidate will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Expanding territories and creating teams across different regions.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Management to achieve business development targets
  • Min 10 years of sales experience in diagnostics and the molecular industry
  • Strong Account Management skills to foster and maintain client relationships
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret market trends and make data-driven strategic decisions
  • Leadership experience with Team Management capabilities to guide and motivate a high-performing sales team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a strong advantage
  • Experience in the healthcare and diagnostics industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
